Be sure and check out some of my favorite links Tony Luciani: a truely great and
passionate artist, also a great friend Stella Stenroos: another fine artist
who has provided encouragement and did a really fun
Purplo painting for me Charles deLint: I have loved Charles'
books for years and then was delighted to discover that
he and his wife are both gifted musicians as well. You
need to read his books James Kavanaugh: A poet whose words
have changed my life and helped me through some of the
worst years of my life Northern Journey: Gene Wilburn has
written a great book that reviews recordings and artists
here in Canada. There is an online version with excerpts
from the book. Rasputin's Folk Cafe: This is one of
my favorite places, run by Dean Verger, who also cooks up
a great meal, it has live entertainment every night of
the week. Be sure to go if you're ever in the Ottawa
area. Hawberry Farms: I've
been running into the folks from Hawberry farms for quite
a few years now at various shows that I perform in. They
are located on Manitoulin Island, a place where Joanna
and I have dreams of moving to maybe someday. They also
have the most wonderful condiments in
the world. My personal favorite is the black olive garlic
sauce. I try to stalk up on it when ever I see them Matthew Haslem: A very talented young
artist, what can I say??? He's my son and I'm the proud
papa.... but do check out his web site, some wonderful
creative stuff there! Hari Pal: If you have or at least
listened to my recording "Spirit of the Land"
then you have wondered at the brilliant tabla playing of
my friend Hari. He is quite simply the best I've ever had
the good fortune to work with. He has a web site and is
very active with many interesting projects. Be sure to
check him out
